About Us

Bridging the Digital Divide, One Community at a Time

The Tech Bodega is a nonprofit organization on a mission to empower youth from overlooked communities by making technology accessible, engaging, and inspiring. We believe that tech isn’t just a career path — it’s a tool for empowerment, innovation, and breaking generational barriers.
Founded by Ashley Parker, a cybersecurity professional and the only Black woman engineer in her lab, The Tech Bodega was born from a deeply personal mission: to create access where there was none, and to show kids who look like her that they belong in tech too.

Our Mission

Breaking Barriers, Building Tech Futures

The Tech Bodega breaks barriers to tech by creating spaces where young innovators from overlooked communities can learn, build, and lead.
